Princeton Man Admits to LSD Possession, Intent to Distribute: Prosecutor

Julian Edgren, a former University student, pleaded guilty to a second degree charge.

A Princeton man has pleaded guilty to a second degree charge possession of LSD with the intent to distribute, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said on Monday.

Julian Edgren, 21, pleaded guilty to an accusation pre-indictment, and will likely serve less than five years in state prison.

Edgren was a student at Princeton University when he was charged with multiple counts of narcotics possession totaling $2,875 after he retrieved an oversea package containing ecstasy.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Customs and Border Protection intercepted a package from overseas containing approximately seven grams of ecstasy addressed to Edgren at Princeton University in the middle of December.

He was charged on Jan. 6.

He is no longer enrolled at the University, according to the Princeton Packet.

His sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 20. However, he is expected to enroll in a special probation program.
