SOMERSET, NJ — Looking for a fun way to get in shape in Somerset County while burning off some steam? A Princeton man is opening an ilovekickboxing.com studio in Somerset in May. There are a total of five locations in New Jersey, and the franchise is continuing to expand across the state.

“If you want to change the way you look at fitness and have fun while getting in the best shape of your life, get yourself into our Somerset studio,” said Nick Giacopelli, franchise owner. “Once you step foot inside – you will realize that you are part of something special. We are about community and accountability – where passionate instructors and peers really do care about you and your goals - and will do whatever it takes to help you achieve them.”

“This is a remarkable opportunity to have a great and positive impact on local people’s lives,” Giacopelli said. “My background has always revolved around fitness and business. This is a unique intersection of the two.”

Giacopelli began working on the studio in April of 2016, and a year later, his dream is coming to fruition. He is aiming to open on May 18. His driving force behind opening the studio is helping others achieve their goals.

“We’re passionate about helping men and women see results, lose weight, love their bodies, and live healthy lives – and it is this passion that drives us to do what we do, and how we do it. We are driven to put people first,” Giacopelli said.

Giacopelli has also been an elite athlete at the collegiate level. He trains young athletes in soccer and has a background in martial arts. Even with his background, the ilovekickboxing.com routine pushed him to his edge.

“I was really impressed by the intensity of the workout I can have. Whether a beginner or elite athlete they are always pushed to the edge,” Giacopelli said.

The classes are offered for all levels, from the experienced athlete to someone who has never worked out at all.

“This is for real – it’s not only about looking good – but it’s about feeling amazing,” Giacopelli said. “The workout is never boring. It’s always fun, engaging, challenging, and exciting. It is a bag-hitting, adrenaline-flowing workout that anyone can do - no matter your age or fitness level. You strap on real gloves and learn pro moves that make you feel like a rockstar – and in the process you get lean and toned and see amazing results.”

In one kickboxing class, participants can expect to burn between 400 to 800 calories. The classes are designed to help lose weight, tone up or just relieve stress. As part of Giacopelli’s anticipated grand opening special, he is offering a 50 percent off web special with a free pair of gloves. Participants just need to use the coupon code SOMERSTRONG. And those who want a pair of pink gloves can use coupon code PINK.
