Princeton Man Says He Was 'Going To Shoot Children:' Police

Connecticut Police say the man from Princeton was arrested and they stressed he didn't possess a weapon or own one.

PRINCETON, NJ — A Princeton man is accused of verbally saying he was "going to shoot children," Milford, Connecticut Police say. On Oct. 7, police responded to the area of High Street near Jepson Drive on a report of a suspicious man making "disturbing comments to passerby's," police said.

Investigation led to the arrest of Andrew Taylor, 41, of Princeton, who is accused of yelling profanities and stating he was "going to shoot children in the area," police said.

He was found to have no weapons on him or registered to him, and contact was made with both local schools regarding the incident, police said.

He is charged with two counts of second-degree breach of peace and was given a court date of Nov. 5.
