Princeton Nonprofit Share My Meals Appoints New CEO

PRINCETON, NJ — Share My Meals, a nonprofit that recovers surplus meals to address food insecurity and reduce food waste, announced Kamili Williams as its new CEO, effective Sept. 9.

Williams brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in nonprofit organizations across the human services, education and housing sectors, according to the organization. She previously served as vice president of programs and services at The Community FoodBank of New Jersey, president and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Plainfield and Middlesex County, and director of the Union County Division of Social Services, where she oversaw a $65 million budget serving more than 300,000 residents.

Williams holds a Master of Public Administration from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University.

Williams succeeds former CEO Hélène Lanctuit, who stepped down in June to relocate to Switzerland. Lanctuit currently serves on the Share My Meals Board of Directors and as co-chair of the Meal Recovery Coalition. Pam Gregory served as interim CEO during the search process.

Founded in January 2020, Share My Meals is based in Princeton and has operated in New Jersey since its launch, expanding to New York and Pennsylvania in 2025. The organization recovers and delivers nutritious prepared meals from corporate donors to community partners. More information is available at sharemymeals.org.
