Princeton Police To Host Free Traffic Safety Seminar For Drivers, Cyclists, Pedestrians
A free community seminar on traffic safety is coming to Princeton Municipal Hall. Here's what you'll learn, & how to register:
The Princeton Police Department will host a free community seminar on traffic safety next month, bringing together drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians to explore how New Jersey traffic law applies to all road users.
"Traffic Law & People-Friendly Driving," presented by the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey in partnership with the League of American Bicyclists and These Guys LLC, is scheduled for April 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Municipality of Princeton, 400 Witherspoon St.
The event is a follow-up to a well-received session held last year.

The two-hour program will cover the rights and responsibilities of drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians under New Jersey's Title 39 traffic laws, as well as emerging transportation trends such as e-bikes and other new road technologies. The session will also address real-world enforcement perspectives and how different road users can more safely share the road.
Topics on the agenda include the basics of rights and duties for people in cars, on bikes, and on foot; what motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians generally know — and don't know — about traffic law; and what the law says about enforcement across different categories of road users.
