Princeton Police to Increase Presence Around Schools
The increase comes following a luring incident and an inappropriate touching incident involving students.

In response to recent events, there will be an increased police presence around Princeton’s schools at both arrival and dismissal times, Princeton Police said Thursday night.
“Our Safe Neighborhood Bureau has long monitored activity around the area schools,” Princeton Police said in a statement. “They will be joined by a contingent of uniformed officers in patrolling private and public schools throughout the municipality in a combined effort in keeping all Princeton students safe.”
The announcement comes two days after an attempted luring incident on Hamilton Avenue near Chestnut Street. On April 10, an adult man grabbed a teenage girl as she walked to school.
