Princeton Police Investigate Assault On South Harrison Street

The victim told police he was attacked by an unknown man with a weapon.

Princeton, NJ -- Princeton Police are investigating an assault that took place on South Harrison Street last Thursday night.

A man told police that he was assaulted by an unknown man with a weapon at about 9:05 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, on South Harrison Street, police said on Tuesday.

He suffered a wound to his abdomen, but refused medical attention.

He described the weapon as a flat, thin piece of metal with two finger holes similar to a pair scissors.

The unknown assailant was described as 5’10” tall, 150 to 180 pounds, with a lean body build and reportedly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with no identifying insignia and possibly dark blue jeans.

The investigation was turned to the detective bureau for further investigation, and no further information was available Tuesday afternoon.
