Princeton Recreation Collecting Swimsuits, Goggles For Donation Drive

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Recreation is serving as an official drop-off location for a Bathing Suit & Goggle Drive hosted by the New Jersey Recreation and Park Association, New Jersey Swim Safety Alliance and Dolfin Swimwear.

The drive is accepting donations of new, unused swimsuits and goggles through Aug. 15, according to Princeton Recreation. Items can be dropped off at the Community Park Pool front desk during regular operating hours.

Donated items will go to under-resourced communities, with the goal of connecting recipients to swim lessons, organizers said.

"Swimsuits lead to swim lessons. Swim lessons save lives," the organizers said in a statement.
