Winberie's To Temporarily Close For Renovations, Layoff Employees

Renovations are expected to begin in February and should take about five weeks, businesses representatives said.

PRINCETON, NJ — Winberie's Restaurant & Bar in Princeton has filed layoff notices with the state as it plans to temporarily close because of renovations.

Renovations are planned to begin in early February. However, a specific date has not been set. Renovations will take about five weeks. During that time employees will not be paid and instead be temporarily laid off to allow them to collect unemployment, said Rich Carnevale, manager of Winberie's told Patch.
