Princeton S.H.R.E.D Fest To Be Held April 15

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton's Household Waste & Shredding Event will be held on April 15 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The event will be held at 101 Walnut Lane (Westminster Choir College, entrance on Franklin Avenue).

Princeton residents can bring their electronics/computers, household goods, appliances, medical equipment, and more.

RECYCLING/DOCUMENT SHREDDING/LANDFILL TRASH

• Electronic waste, large/small appliances (white goods)
• Metal waste including metal hangers
• Document shredding
• Landfill trash (excluding the unaccepted items)

UPCYCLING

• Small batteries with tape added to both ends
• Cellphones/smart tablets & accessories
• Printer cartridges
• Block styrofoam
• Unusable metal-based pots, pans, and cutlery
• Disposable razors, blades & plastic covers/packaging
• Reusable shopping bags

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED

Rugs, carpeting, paint, chemicals, car or lead-acid batteries, fire alarms, thermometers, oil, railroad ties, asbestos, tires, helium/oxygen tanks, wood, fencing, medical waste, household trash, couches, construction or remodeling debris, mattresses or box springs.
