Princeton Schools Asks Public’s Help In Choosing Superintendent
The school district has posted an online form to encourage parents, guardians and community members to assist in the process.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Public Schools is asking the public’s help in choosing the next Superintendent of Schools. The district is currently being led by Barry Galasso on an interim basis, after Steve Cochrane retired on June 30.
The district has posted an online form on its website to encourage parents, guardians and community members to assist in the process. The online survey is open till Oct. 4. School Exec Connect, an educational search firm, has been appointed by the Board to assist in the search.

The district is also asking the public to tell them about the district’s strengths, challenges, and the characteristics the next superintendent should possess. There will be a virtual open forum hosted by School Exec Connect consultants for PPS parents, guardians and community members on Monday, October 5, at 4:30 p.m.

The findings from the survey, the open forums, and focus group conversations will be used to develop a new Superintendent profile. This will be reported to the Board on October 27, 2020.
