Princeton Schools To Get More State Aid For 2020-21
Gov. Phil Murphy's administration released the proposed state aid numbers for every school district in the 2020-21 school year.
PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Schools can expect to see an increase in their state aid for the 2020-21 school year.
Gov. Phil Murphy's administration released the proposed state aid numbers on Thursday for every school district in the 2020-21 school year.
Princeton is expected to see a 5.37 percent increase in state aid. This means the district would receive a total of $4,376,710 or $223,178 more in state aid.

East Windsor Regional received the highest increase in aid in Mercer County with 15.95 percent while Hamilton Township received the least with an increase of 3.31 percent.
Overall, state aid would increase 3.8 over the 2019-20 school year under a plan that requires approval from the state Legislature. That number would be larger than the 2.43 percent increase Murphy proposed last year.
