Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mr. Eastburn cares a lot about establishing a community amongst his students and providing enrichment opportunities in the realm of science — especially to Spanish-speaking students who may struggle with English. He uses a variety of techniques to help students develop a strong conceptual understanding of the course material and teaches them how to "think through" solving problems rather than just plugging in formulas. His section of the school's Research Program allows students to gain new experiences and collaborate on projects related to their scientific interests.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Mr. Eastburn's passion for helping students is just as strong as his passion for science itself.
