PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton's Littlebrook School teachers staged a car parade on Friday to cheer up their students while following all of the best practices of social distancing amid the new coronavirus outbreak.
"I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful today was. This was one of the best days I have ever experienced as an educator! There were so many smiling faces and grateful children, staff members, and families. We had over 30 cars in our Teacher Parade today. So proud to be a part of [Princeton Public Schools] and especially the Littlebrook family!" said Littlebrook Principal Luis Ramirez.
The parade was the brainstorm of second grade teacher Laura Carlone and led by school mascot Ravioli and Ramirez. The teachers mapped out a route that involved driving past the homes of all their students.
