- Parking lots and tailgate areas open 2 hours prior to kickoff. We recommend you arrive early to avoid delays.
- Tailgating is permitted only in areas where the flow of traffic is not obstructed and must comply with parking regulations.
- Please limit your tailgate to the area immediately behind your vehicle. Please do not set tables, chairs or coolers up in adjacent parking spaces. No tents or awnings may be erected in parking spaces or in such a manner as to impede the flow of traffic. We ask for your cooperation since space can be at a premium.
- All groups larger than 30 individuals must be registered at least 48 hours before game day by calling our Athletics Ticket Office: 610-7LU-GAME (610-758-4263). The group will be given a location in a designated parking area to accommodate the large number in the group (see Football Tailgates – South Parking Lots map). Only small weighted tents may be erected in tailgating/parking lot areas. Larger tents that require staking must be rented from the University and erected under the supervision of Lehigh facilities staff. Call 610-7LU-GAME (610-758-4263)for information.
- Alcoholic beverages are permitted in designated parking area. Beer kegs and/or excessive quantities of alcohol (wine, spirits and/or beer) are not permitted in the parking areas. Consumption of alcohol by underage drinkers will not be tolerated.
- All students groups must register their tailgate with the Dean of Students Office by the Wednesday prior to the game. Student groups will be given a designated location in the North Parking Lot (see Football Tailgates – North Parking Lots map).
- Tailgating is not permitted during the game. Fans that do not enter Goodman Stadium at or before game time will be required to leave Goodman Campus. Any non-student tailgates may resume for up to 1 ½ hours after the game ends.
- Please dispose of any trash, containers and food items in the appropriate trash or recycling containers which are provided throughout the grounds.
- Please properly dispose of charcoal by not placing hot coals in dumpsters or trash containers. We intend to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all who attend our games at Goodman Stadium. Conduct which disrupts that experience will not be permitted. Enjoy the game.

Green Tailgating Tips:
- Know what is recyclable: glass and plastic bottles, aluminum cans; and what is NOT: red solo cups, cardboard, food items.
- Place recyclables and non-recyclable trash in the proper bins. Blue for recycling and Black for trash.
- Bring a reusable water bottle for tailgating. Ditch the disposable and pick up some reusable cups. The same is true for utensils, plates and decorations. By reusing items, you not only generate less waste, but you also reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing and shipping of disposable and recyclable items.
- Buy tailgating supplies with recycled content, and in bulk. You’ll reduce packaging waste and probably save money!
- Buy local food: decrease food miles, your meal’s carbon footprint and support the local economy.
- When you do your tailgate shopping, bring your own reusable bags. They’re easier to carry and create less trash!
- Carpool to your tailgate spot, and encourage others to come celebrate another Mountain Hawks win with you.
- Grill naturally. Barbecuing or grilling with natural products — like chemical-free charcoal — is more sustainable and better for the food.
