A Princeton University student who nearly lost his playing career and his life returns to the football field this fall, goprincetontigers.com reports.

Junior Khamal Brown ruptured his arteriovenous malformation, which required immediate, life-saving surgery, according to the report.

That was 23 months ago, and when the Tigers return to the field in a few weeks, the defensive back will be right there with them. He had 72 tackles in 14 games prior to his injury.
