Princeton University Football Team Downs Colgate to Remain Unbeaten

The Princeton University football team took a two-point halftime lead and turned it into a blowout victory to remain undefeated Saturday night.
John Lovett carried the ball 14 times for 49 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Tigers to a 44-20 win over Colgate, according to espn.com.
Lovett scored on runs of 1, 3, 7 and 9 yards, and the Tigers improved to 4-0. Three of Lovett’s touchdowns came in the second half.

Joe Rhattigan had a 13-yard touchdown run, and Charles Volker scored on the ground from 62 yards out.
Princeton led 16-14 at halftime. Colgate fell to 2-4 on the season.
