The Yale University football team set up a showdown with Harvard next week for the Ivy League title.

The Bulldogs set up the showdown with a 44-30 win over Princeton on Saturday, according to espn.com.

Yale improved to 8-1 overall, and 5-1 in conference play. The Bulldogs are currently tied with Dartmouth (7-2, 5-1) for second place.

Harvard remained unbeaten (9-0, 6-0) with a 34-24 win over Penn on Saturday.

Princeton fell to 5-4 overall, 4-2 in Ivy League play. The Tigers fell to third place, and hosts Dartmouth in next weekend’s season finale.

Princeton’s Quinn Epperly ran for three touchdowns, including runs of 7, 1 and 8 yards.

Connor Michelsen threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to James Frusciante, and Nolan Bieck rounded out the scoring for Princeton with a 37-yard field goal.

Princeton held a steady lead throughout the first quarter, and was leading 14-10.

A blocked punt return for a touchdown turned the tide, putting Yale up 17-10.

It was a lead Yale would never relinquish.
