Princeton University Football Team Finishes Season 5-5

The Tigers were 4-3 in Ivy League play this season.

Joe Rhattigan’s 1-yard touchdown run was the final score of the season for the Princeton University football team, which dropped a 41-10 decision at home to Dartmouth on Saturday, according to espn.com.

The 6-foot, 205-pound sophomore halted the Big Green’s 34-point scoring frenzy with his touchdown run.

Nolan Bieck’s 46-yard field goal pulled the Tigers to within four points, 7-3, early on, but Dartmouth’s offense proved to be too much, rolling up over 500 yards of total offense.

Princeton finished the season 5-5 overall, 4-3 in Ivy League play. The Tigers finished fourth in the conference.

Dartmouth went 8-2 overall, and 6-1 in the conference. Dartmouth finished second in the conference after Harvard (10-0, 7-0) claimed the Ivy League title with a 31-24 win over Yale on Saturday to cap an undefeated season. Yale (8-2, 5-2) finished third.
