Princeton University Football Team Snaps 2-Game Losing Streak Against Winless Cornell

The Tigers won, 47-21, on Saturday.

The Princeton University football team snapped a two-game losing streak with a 47-21 win over Cornell at home on Saturday, according to espn.com.

Chad Kanoff led the way with 203 passing yards and an 8-yard touchdown pass to Scott Carpenter to put Princeton on the board first, in the second quarter.

After that, a Princeton rushing attack that amassed 261 total yards and averaged 7.9 yards per carry took over.

Joe Rhattigan led the attack with 127 yards and a touchdown on the ground. John Lovett had 92 rushing yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers.

Princeton improved to 5-2 overall, and 2-2 in Ivy League play. Cornell remained winless this season (0-7, 0-4).
