Princeton University Football Team Suffers First Loss of Season
Brown defeated the Tigers, 38-31, on Saturday.

Johnny Pena’s 7-yard touchdown run with seven seconds left in the game was the final dagger the Brown University football team needed to stab Princeton’s undefeated season in the heart on Saturday.
Brown defeated Princeton, 38-37, according to espn.com.
The final score was close, but Brown led for much of the game, leading 21-7 at one point before the Tigers rallied to tie the game twice.

John Lovett ran for 61 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries for Princeton. He had touchdown runs of 1 and 2 yards. He also caught eight passes for 115 yards, including a 42-yard touchdown reception from Kendric Bostic.
Nolan Bieck connected on a 30-yard field goal.

Chad Kanoff threw for 321 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. His touchdown passes were both to Scott Carpenter, including one for 10 yards and one for 3 yards.
However, his final interception set up Brown’s game-winning drive.
Princeton fell to 4-1 overall, and 1-1 in Ivy League play. Brown 3-2 overall, 1-1 in conference play.
Following Saturday’s action, Harvard and Dartmouth are tied for first place at 2-0 in the conference and 5-0 overall. Brown, Princeton, Yale and Penn each have one loss. Columbia and Cornell have yet to win a conference game.
