Princeton University to Host Vigil, Procession for Victims of Orlando Shooting

The vigil and procession are set for Thursday night.

Princeton, NJ -- In addition to the Coalition for Peace Action’s plans for a vigil, Princeton University is planning to hold a vigil on Thursday night in the aftermath of Sunday's mass shooting that left 49 people dead and another 53 people injured in Orlando.

The vigil begins at 9:30 p.m. under Blair Arch on the University’s campus. A procession through campus will follow, according to the University’s website.

It will conclude with food and drink at the LGBT Center, Frist Campus Center, Room 246, around 10:45 p.m.

On Wednesday, June 29, the campus’s Muslim community will host a solidarity dinner for members of the LGBT community at 8:30 p.m. Muslims will be breaking for their fast meal Iftar throughout the week for Ramadan, in Green Hall.
