Princeton was the only undefeated team in Division I women’s college basketball this year. The Tigers won a record number of Ivy League games this season. The No. 8 seed is the highest for any Ivy League team in the history of the tournament, according to goprincetontigers.com.
However, the other three teams that earned No. 8 seeds in this year’s tournament each had nine losses.
This will be Princeton’s fifth appearance in the tournament, but the Tigers have never won a game. Their last appearance was in 2013, when they lost to Florida State, 60-44.
