Princeton's Backpack & School Supply Drive Returns For 17th Year

PRINCETON, NJ - Princeton Human Services is now accepting applications for its 17th Annual Backpack & School Supply Drive, which provides essential school supplies to eligible families, according to the department.

Princeton residents with children entering pre-kindergarten through eighth grade in the Princeton Regional School District are eligible to apply, officials said.

Residents can request an application by calling the Human Services Office at 609-688-2055, emailing humanservices@princetonnj.gov, or visiting the office at 1 Monument Drive. The application deadline is Friday, July 31, 2026.

The department is also accepting donations of backpacks and school supplies from community members and local businesses through the same deadline, officials said.
