In ‘The Cools’ their earliest days, they provided Cool Girls, for a selection of Princeton regional teens who had never before critiqued their own and others’ works. Eloise Bruce, who led this program, insists,“They were naturally gifted. They taught us!”
Princeton’s Cool Women include Eloise Bruce, Juditha Dowd, Lois Marie Harrod, Joyce Greenberg Lott, Judy Rowe Michaels, Sharon Olson, Penelope Scambly Schott, Maxine Susman, Gretna Wilkinson, with co-founders Betty Lies and Carolyn Foote Edelmann. All are widely published individually, and many have shared their innate talents as teachers.
