Princeton's Spring SHRED Fest Returns April 18
The annual household waste and recycling event runs rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — but spots fill fast once the trucks are full.
PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton residents can drop off electronics, household goods, medical equipment and documents for shredding next month at a free community recycling event hosted at Westminster Choir College.
The Household Recycling and SHRED Fest is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until trucks reach capacity, rain or shine. The event is open to Princeton residents only and will be held in the college parking lot, with entrance on Franklin Avenue.
Accepted items include electronics such as computers, televisions, printers and cell phones; large appliances including microwaves, humidifiers and dehumidifiers; and gently used household goods including clean, untorn clothing, cookware, bedding and tools. Residents may also drop off home-use medical equipment such as wheelchairs, canes, walkers and grab bars, as well as paper documents for on-site shredding.
