Sign And Sing Combines ASL And Classical Music At Princeton University
The show is Nov. 18 at Whitman Theater.

PRINCETON, NJ — A group that integrates American Sign Language (ASL) and classical music will perform at Princeton University next month. The Princeton University American Sign Language Club presents Sign and Sing on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2 p.m. at the Whitman Theater on the Princeton University campus. Refreshments follow the performance outside the theater.
Sign and Sing describes itself on its website as a group that combines ASL and classical music to elevate storytelling in an operatic and recital environment. It puts the ASL performance front and center, as opposed to being a translation at the corner of the stage or a caption on a distant screen.
A few examples of what Sign and Sing does can be found in the videos below.
