A weekly roundup of Princeton High School sports.

With one week of the high school sports season in New Jersey in the books, Princeton’s teams are playing just about as well as anyone.

Both the boys and girls soccer teams are undefeated, and the field hockey team has lost just once, according to scores posted on nj.com.

Boys Soccer

Princeton 1, Westfield 0, OT, Sept 5: Chris Harla scored the game-winner in overtime, with an assist from Nick Halliday. Goalie Owen Lindenfelder needed to make just one save in the season-opening win.

Princeton 4, Trenton 0, Sept. 11: Four different players scored for Princeton, which improved to 2-0 on the season with back-to-back shutouts. Chris Harla, Luis Lazo, Peter Luther and Mark Petrovic each scored a goal in the win.

Princeton 4, Robbinsville 1, Sept. 15: Cole Snyder scored half of Princeton’s goals (2), while Chris Harla and Pete Luther each chipped in one. Goalie Owen Lindenfelder mad 12 saves.

Princeton 5, Hamilton West 0, Sept. 17: Five different players scored and two goalies combined for the shutout to help Princeton improve to 4-0. Sam Edwards, Nick Halliday, Chris Harla, Alex Ratzan and Cole Snyder scored the goals. Owen Lindenfelder made two saves and Patrick Jacobs made another in goal.

Girls Soccer

Princeton 7, Robbinsville 2, Sept. 15: Haley Bodden and Devon Lis each had two goals and an assist in the win. Gabrielle Deitch, Taylor Lis and Hannah Rush also had a goal apiece. Serena DiBianco had three assists. Goalie Rachel Eberhart had seven saves.

Princeton 2, Hamilton West 0, Sept. 17: Haley Bodden and Isabella Giglio each scored to help Princeton earn its second victory. Goalie Rachel Eberhart made three saves.

Field Hockey

Princeton 6, Princeton Day 0, Sept. 8: Avery Peterson scored twice in Princeton’s opening day win. Kennedy Corrado had a goal and an assist, and Natalie Campisi, Jordan Cane and Patricia Reilly also scored goals.

Allentown 4, Princeton 1, Sept. 10: Mariana Lopez-Ona scored the only goal of the game for Princeton. Goalie Kate Rogers made nine saves but suffered the loss.

Lawrenceville 2, Princeton 1, Sept. 12: Lexi Grossman’s two goals made the difference for Lawrenceville. Avery Peterson scored the only goal of the game for Princeton.

Princeton 5, Hamilton West 0, Sept. 16: Princeton took a 1-0 halftime lead and blew it wide open in the second half. Mariana Lopez-Ona and Avery Peterson each scored, and Kennedy Corrado had two assists.
