Nurse Who Reused Syringe While Giving Flu Shots Suspended

The nurse who reused the syringe at a Mercer County pharmaceutical company surrendered her license on Wednesday, pending further review.

The license of a nurse who reportedly reused a syringe while administering flu shots at a Mercer County pharmaceutical company has been suspended, NBC 10 reports.

The nurse voluntarily surrendered her license on Wednesday, and will not be permitted to practice nursing in the state until the New Jersey Board of Nursing rules further, according to the report.

The nurse reportedly changed the needle, but reused the same syringe while administering shots to 67 employees at Otsuka Pharmaceutical in West Windsor last week.
