PRINCETON, NJ — Stumpy's Hatchet House chopped the grand opening ribbon on Saturday to mark the opening of its Princeton location at 745 Alexander Road.
The location is BYO for patrons to bring in their own drinks and food. Although Stumpy's does plan to offer cheese platters.
The 8,750 square foot space offers 13 pits in two different areas — a deck and lodge area, said Scott Kuppe, owner of the Princeton location.

The deck feels more like outside with large windows and a wood wall feature in the back.
At Stumpy's patrons have the opportunity to take turns hurling their hatchet at a target, honing in on their form and technique in a safe, controlled throwing pit.
This is the seventh location in New Jersey followed by locations in Green Brook, Hackettstown, Fairfield, Saddle River, Eatontown, and Delran.
