Subway Closes One Year After Opening on Nassau Street in Princeton

The national chain went head-to-head with a local staple.

Subway lasted just over a year on Nassau Street.

The national sandwich chain set up shop across the street from Hoagie Haven in May of last year. Hoagie Haven stood in that location since the 1970’s, and Princeton residents showed their support for the hometown shop.

Signs recently posted at Subway said the store is closed and customers should visit Subway on Witherspoon Street, Planet Princeton reports.
