Summer Things to do in Mercer County Park
Check out some fun things to do in our local park during the summertime!
With a nice park near the Princeton area, here are some things you and your family could do while in town:
- Go kayaking/canoeing: the park includes a marina where you and friends could go for some afternoon fun!
- Walk around or go for a run: the park’s beautiful pathways and grassy fields are great to get some exercise!
- Take a rowing lesson: although not always open for lessons, try something new and catch a private lesson spot with one of the coaches at the Mercer Boathouse!
- Play tennis: open tennis courts are at the park!
- Catch one of the Carnivals: although these are seasonal and usually happen during the Fourth of July, if you’re in town then be sure to attend one of the county carnivals filled with food, games, rides, and more!
These are just a few of the many things to be done at Mercer, but I hope you’ll try some of them out. I’ve mostly included summer activities, but be on the lookout for a winter version as well!
