The following is a summary of incidents as reported by Princeton Police:
PRINCETON, NJ — On Aug. 13, following a motor vehicle stop on South Harrison Street for an equipment violation, the driver was found to have an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1,001. The 20-year-old Princeton resident was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters, where he was processed and released after posting bail. He was provided with a future court date.
On Aug. 14, following a report of shoplifting on Hulfish Street, the Princeton Police Department met with employees of a retail store who reported that around $1,116 worth of merchandise had been stolen from the store. The theft remains under investigation.

On Aug. 8, 2 police responded to Headquarters to investigate a reported identity theft and unlawful use of credit cards. The victim reported that an unknown person had used their credit card to make an unauthorized purchase in the amount of $4,789 at a retail store located on the 200 block of Nassau Street. The theft remains under investigation.
On Aug. 15, following a motor vehicle stop on Princeton Kingston Road for obstructing the passage of other vehicles, the driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. The Parsippany resident was taken to police headquarters to be processed. The 27-year-old was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses and subsequently released to a sober adult.

On Aug. 16, following a motor vehicle stop on State Road for failure to keep right, the driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. The Trenton resident was taken to police headquarters to be processed. The 29-year-old was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses and subsequently released to a sober adult.
