Theft Of Identity, Theft: Princeton Police Blotter

The Princeton police blotter dated June 18 had the following reports:

The following is a summary of incidents as reported by Princeton Police:

PRINCETON, NJ — On June 11, at 11:41 a.m., patrols responded to the 700 block of State Road to investigate the report of a stolen wallet. The victim reported that their wallet was stolen from that location sometime between 10:15 a.m. and 11:41 a.m. The estimated total loss was $250. This theft is under investigation.

On June 12, at 09:55 p.m., on May 24, a man observed a “credit alert” on their Experian Credit Report. The alert stated that a cell phone carrier posted a fraudulent charge of $5,768 to his account. The victim reported that they had not sustained a monetary loss as a result of the fraudulent charge. This theft of identity is under investigation.

On June 16, at 8:08 p.m., the victim reported that his unsecured bicycle was stolen from the 0 block of Paul Robeson Place on June 15 sometime between 4:45 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. The value of the bicycle was reported as $350. This theft is under investigation.
