Turkey Visits St. Paul School of Princeton Students for Thanksgiving
Pilgrim Ed and his turkey, Jack, of Quiver Farm in Pennsburg, PA. visited the school this week.

The Little Lions Preschool classes and the St. Paul School of Princeton kindergartners met a real live turkey in time for Thanksgiving.
Pilgrim Ed and his turkey, Jack, of Quiver Farm in Pennsburg, PA. visited the school this week.
Dressed in clothes modeled from the 1600’s, Pilgrim Ed taught the children a lesson on the first Thanksgiving.

Students were able to experiment with tools, shuck corn, crush corn (maize) to make flour, and squash berries.
The highlight of the presentation was Jack the Turkey.

Children beamed as they lined up to feed and pet him.
