Deputy Secretary Cindy Marten will visit Princeton High School and tour a preschool classroom at Johnson Park Elementary on Tuesday.

PRINCETON, NJ — U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education, Cindy Marten, will be visiting Princeton High School on Tuesday, the DOE announced. Marten’s visit is part of the administration's “ARPStars” tour, to highlight how schools are using the American Rescue Plan investments.
Marten will visit Princeton High School Tuesday morning to see how the school is using ARP funds to strengthen arts and mental health resources for students, as well as professional development and coaching for educators. The Deputy Secretary will be accompanied by New Jersey Assistant Commissioner of Education, Jordan Schiff and will meet Superintendent Carol Kelley.
Marten will also tour a preschool classroom at Johnson Park Elementary School, participate in a roundtable discussion with district principals, and discuss tutoring and special programs for students, according to the U.S. Department of Education. All these programs are funded by ARP.
