When is This Year's Princeton Festival Gala?
The gala is the festival's main fundraising event.

Princeton, NJ -- The Princeton Festival Gala, the festival’s main fundraising event, will take place on Saturday, April 30, at The Greenacres Country Club in Lawrenceville.
Susan Rhoda-Hansen and George Hansen are the co-chairs for this year’s event, which begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and piano music by Harry Fini.
This year’s Gala theme comes from The Festival’s Musical presentation, Stephen Sondheim’s “A Little Night Music” which includes the famous song “Send in the Clowns.”

The Courtney Colletti Band will provide music for dinner and dancing. Additional entertainment will include opera arias by baritone Joseph Barron and the live auction of several experiences, including a real life “Top Gun” flight, a private tour of a Sonoma winery, attendance at the Masters Golf Tournament, and a trip to the 50th annual Country Music Awards ceremony and after party.
Dozens of enticing items will be on display and open for bidding in the silent auction.

In addition to the musical, the Festival’s 12th season also includes Grammy Award winner Cécile McLorin Salvant, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Voices of Light/The Possession of Joan of Arc (a collaboration with Princeton Symphony Orchestra and Princeton Garden Theater featuring a score by award-winning composer Richard Einhorn), Baroque Festival Orchestra, this year’s opera Benjamin Britten’s “Peter Grimes”, an organ recital, a cappella vocal jazz with Break From Blue Collar and The Fonic, the Condordia Chamber Players, a choral concert of Bach Cantatas, and the annual piano competition for young artists.
To complement the performances there will be a series of educational programs that includes lectures, previews, and opportunities to meet the artists. All proceeds from the Gala will directly support the 2016 season. Online bids will be accepted.
Individual tickets to the Gala range from $250 to $1,000. The Festival is also offering a special cocktail-hour-only ticket at $75, which includes an open bar and entertainment.
