Woman Apparently Hit By Car In Princeton Was Visiting America For The First Time

Xufeng Huang was visiting her daughter, and looking forward to seeing the country.

Princeton, NJ -- A Chinese woman whose body was discovered on the south side of Mercer Road near Gallup Road in a wooded area off the roadway at around 10 a.m. Saturday was visiting America for the first time, and was looking forward to seeing the country, the Princeton Packet reports.

Xufeng Huang, 69, loved taking pictures, which is why her family believes she left their house on Worth Mills Lane in Princeton on at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday night, Sept. 15, according to the report. A camera was in her possession when her body was found Saturday morning.

Her daughter ran an errand on Thursday, and when she returned home, Huang was missing, according to the report.

On Friday, Princeton Police put out an alert stating that Huang was missing, and that she was unfamiliar with the area.

Her body was found on Saturday. Police believe she was hit by a car.

Her family wants the driver to come forward, and is considering putting up a reward for anyone who has information about the accident, according to the report.
