Woman Gunned Down, Hospitalized In Late Night Shooting In Mercer County
Officers in the area heard numerous gunshots fired on Sunday.
TRENTON, NJ — A woman is hospitalized with a gunshot wound following an overnight shooting in Trenton on Sunday.
At around 2:45 a.m., Trenton Police were in the area of Lamberton Street and Federal Street when they heard numerous gunshots coming from the area of Centre and Federal Streets, said Detective Lieutenant David Ordille.
Officers found a 39-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound, said Ordille.

Officers rendered aid to the victim before she was taken by Trenton Emergency Medical Services to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for a non-life-threatening injury.
Detectives from the Mercer County Shooting Response Team are currently investigating the incident.
