Women in Development of Mercer County Sponsored a special program on "Take Your Children to Work Day"
The Women in Development Roundtable focused on ways to effectively engage children, tweens and teens in volunteerism and philanthropy.
In honor of Take Your Child to Work Day, Women in Development of Mercer County invited members to bring their children to the April 23rd Roundtable discussion. The meeting focused on ways to effectively engage children, tweens and teens in volunteerism and philanthropy. WID members and guests introduced the children attending to philanthropy and explored new ways to think about asking and giving. The WID fundraising professionals shared best practices, strategies and successes in developing the next generation of philanthropic leaders.
