Young Princeton Area Actor Performs in "Matilda the Musical"

Jonas Hinsdale performs on the Walnut Mainstage in the ensemble of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical - playing now through January 6, 2019.

Based on the beloved Roald Dahl novel, Matilda is the story of the courageous little girl with an unbounded imagination who proves that despite the odds, you can do anything you put your mind to—and change your destiny. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by this Broadway hit and winner of 16 Best Musical awards!

Jonas Hinsdale is a 6th grader at the Grover Middle School and resident of West Windsor, NJ. At the age of 7, Jonas began building his passion for performance when he was cast as "Tiny Tim" in McCarter Theatre's production of A Christmas Carol. In addition to performing at the Walnut, Jonas has been dancing since 8 years old. Currently, he is an active member of Princeton Youth Ballet.
