YWCA Princeton Announces Appointment Of New CFO

Michelle Ruggeri is the new Chief Financial Officer at YWCA, the organization announced.

PRINCETON, NJ – On Tuesday, YWCA Princeton announced the appointment of Michelle Ruggeri as the Chief Financial Officer.

Ruggeri has over 15 years of experience working with nonprofits and has a deep passion for organizations that empower and support underserved communities.

“Michelle not only brings valuable industry knowledge but a true passion for advocacy to her role as Chief Financial Officer,” Tay Walker, YWCA Princeton CEO, said in a statement.

“We are confident that her financial planning will lead our organization to increased efficiency and stability.”

Most recently, Ruggeri worked on the Operational Excellence Team at Habitat for Humanity International.

She was responsible for analysis of financial and operational efficiency for 1,200 Habitat affiliates in the United States.

"I am energized and inspired by the YWCA mission to eliminate racism and empower women,” Ruggeri said.

“I look forward to advancing this important work in light of the many systemic injustices our country is beginning to recognize and address."

Ruggeri began her new role on April 28.
