• NJ, Feds Sue Commission to Protect Drinking Water From Contamination (ridgeviewecho.com) — Prospect Park residents are among 800,000 North Jersey customers whose drinking water protections are at the center of a new federal and state lawsuit against the Passaic Valley Water Commission. Officials say three uncovered reservoirs have led to contamination risks and past advisories, and they're now asking a judge to force fixes, public notifications, and daily penalties for noncompliance.
