10 Things You Think Are Healthy, but They Are Not
We live in a toxic world, but there are ways to minimize your exposure.

We live in an increasingly toxic world. All of our bodies carry toxins in them. Toxins are unavoidable. Our bodies are not genetically designed to handle all of these toxins with 100% efficiency. Some of us can handle toxins better than others. The way you handle stress, your lifestyle, sleep habits and your diet have a lot to do with this, as well as your genetic pre-dispositions.
What is a certain fact is that the less toxins that you have in your body, the better off you are. Many diseases, including the greatest killers in America, which are cancer, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, have a direct correlation between the amount of toxins in your body and the probability of you getting that disease.
Awareness is increasing that many household goods, from your personal care products and food packaging to your couch cushions, could harbor dangerous chemical toxins. Less well known is the fact that even seemingly healthy products may turn out to be also bad for you.
