3 Ramsey Vehicles Stolen, Several Burglarized This Week: Police

Breaking: All the vehicles were unlocked with key fobs inside them, police said.

RAMSEY, NJ — Three vehicles were stolen and several were burglarized in the past two days, police announced Thursday.

Every vehicle was unlocked with a key fob inside, police said. They were parked in driveways and in unlocked garages. Purses, sunglasses, iPhones, and EZPass transmitters were stolen.

Police said that "high-end vehicle theft" continues to be a problem in Bergen County.

Police urge residents to lock their vehicles, take their key fobs with them, keep valuables either out of plain sight or take them inside, and lock their garages.

Anyone who sees a vehicle being stolen or burglarized is asked to call 911 immediately. Questions or further information about these incidents can be directed to the Ramsey Police Department at 201-327-2400.
