Fire Wood Tip #2
Make sure the wood you buy is seasoned (dry). It's easy to check. Just look at the end grain and check for cracks. The cracks in the wood indicate dry wood.
Unseasoned wood is hard to light and when it catches fire, there's a lot of hissing and even bubbling coming out of the end grain.
I sell firewood at below market rates. $60/third of a cord.
