RAMSEY, NJ — Planning to vote in person in the upcoming general election? Before heading out, Ramsey voters can check exactly where they're supposed to cast their ballots.
The general election is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 3, with polling places open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to the Borough of Ramsey.
To find an assigned voting location, visit the New Jersey Division of Elections' polling place search page and follow the link to the state's online lookup tool.
The state notes that counties provide polling place information and that the online listings are being updated.
Voters can also check the sample ballots mailed by their counties for their assigned polling location and election district.
For anyone with questions about voting, the New Jersey Voter Information Portal lists a voter assistance hotline at 1-877-NJ-VOTER (1-877-658-6837).
The Division of Elections also reminds voters that mail-in ballots cannot be returned to Election Day polling places.
Those returning mail-in ballots can instead use an authorized ballot drop box or deliver them to their county Board of Elections office by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
