RAMSEY, NJ — Families in Ramsey have several school schedule changes this week, including two districtwide closures and three shortened days for younger students.

According to the Ramsey School District's revised 2026–27 calendar, students in kindergarten through fifth grade have minimum days Monday, Nov. 2, Tuesday, Nov. 3, and Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Those shortened days are scheduled for conferences and apply specifically to grades K–5.

The entire district will then be closed Thursday, Nov. 5, and Friday, Nov. 6, for the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) Convention.

Later in the month, the district has another minimum day scheduled Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Schools will also be closed Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27, for Thanksgiving.

Families can find the complete schedule on the district's calendar webpage, including its revised academic calendar.
