Hearts & Crafts Grief Counseling, a non-profit in Ramsey, accepted a check for $118 from Mahwah High School students, also members of the Interact Club. The students ran a home-made bake sale at school to raise funds for Hearts & Crafts. Stacy Mandel, the Option 2 Community Service Coordinator for Mahwah High School, coordinated the sale. Samantha Tinter of Hearts & Crafts said, “The support, time and genuine care that Stacy Mandel and the Interact Club members have given to Hearts & Crafts has been so wonderful. Being a non-profit organization, we rely on community efforts such as this to be able to provide the families that come to us with the services they so desperately need. We are truly humbled and reminded of what a fantastic community we are part of when others help to make Hearts & Crafts a priority."
