Authorities Seek Help Identifying Alleged Sexual Assailant
Hispanic man allegedly sexually assaulted two women in Palisades Park earlier this month, authorities said.

Bergen County authorities are investigating two alleged sexual assaults in Palisades Park that occurred earlier this month.
A female reported to Palisades Park Police that she was sexually assaulted Sept. 10 at 10:25 p.m. after she was followed from Broad Avenue to 2nd Street by a short, Hispanic man, said Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli.
The man allegedly knocked the woman to the ground from behind and sexually assaulted her with his hands, Molinelli said.

Authorities describe the man as being between 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build, approximately 30 to 35 years old, wearing dark-colored pants, authorities said.
The prosecutor’s office Special Victims Unit was notified and a joint investigation began.

Another female reported to Palisades Park police Sept. 13 that she was sexually assaulted by a Hispanic male Sept. 8, Molinelli said.
The woman told authorities she was walking on West Edsall Avenue at 9:10 p.m., authorities said; the man allegedly attacked from behind and sexually assaulted her using his hands.
The woman described a man similar to the one from the Sept. 10 incident, Molinelli said. Neither woman was seriously injured.
